What is Groomsman?

Groomsmen are male members of the wedding party who support the groom throughout the wedding process. Their responsibilities include attending the bachelor party and rehearsal, renting or purchasing required attire, helping with day-of tasks like seating guests or transporting items, standing with the groom during the ceremony, and being available for photos. Groomsmen are often paired with bridesmaids for the processional and recessional. Traditional duties included ushering guests to seats before the ceremony. The number of groomsmen typically matches the number of bridesmaids, though this isn't required.
